This dataset contains the codes needed to compute the basic and second order flow obtained from a second order perturbation approach performed on a bed covered with tidal sand waves. The model setting is morphostatic and 2DV. The model is forced with an oscillatory flow, representative of the tidal flow.
The flow is obtained by solving the dimensionless momentum and mass balance equations in Fourier space.

my_basicstate	computes basic state flow (over a flatbed) when forced with a tidal signal. Input parameters are Fourier components of the tidal forcing (Fp_vec), slip parameter (s), and parameter defining eddy viscosity profile (alpha).
my_secondorder	computes second order flow (over a sand wave field) when forced with a tidal signal. Input parameters are Fourier components of the tidal forcing (Fp_vec), slip parameter (s), parameter defining eddy viscosity profile (alpha), tidal sand wave wavenumber (k), and tidal sand wave amplitude (h1).
