***General Introduction***
The goal of the measurements is to understand the noise sources on an electric aircraft as well as its combustion-engine counterpart.
The data is used to validate a tonal propeller noise prediction model, as well as for assessment of annoyance of electric aviation.

***Purpose of the test campaign***
Collect noise recordings with an array of the Pipistrel Velis and Virus of E-flight academy at Teuge International Airport.
Recordings were performed during engine run-up as well as flyovers.

***Code used for analysis***
The code used for analysis of the engine runup is ROSI, which is developed by Mirjam Snellen and Pieter Sijtsma and can be requested with prof. Mirjam Snellen.
For CTDB, ROSI was used with RPM = 0.

For the annoyance assessment, SQAT V1.1 was used (see reference in Chapter 4).

***Test equipment***
The engine runup measurements were recorded with a 112-MEMS microphone phased array ("CAE array"). Additionally, the GPS data of the TaxiBot and the taxiing aircraft was made available to the researchers. The code shared here was used to produce the figures in the dissertation.
The flyover measurements were recorded with a 64-channel condenser mic phased array.

***Description of the data and code in this set***
Note: the propeller blade data from the 3D scanner is not allowed to be shared freely as this contains IP of Pipistrel.

1. 'Engine_runup_measurement.tdms' - this is the measurement that was used for the acoustic images in the BeBeC paper and section 8.3 of the dissertation.
2. 'Code to read files.zip' - this contains the code to read the .tdms file that was generated by the CAE array and calibrate it accordingly.
3. 'MC1_Pipistrel_20July2021.xlsx' and 'MC2_Pipistrel_10Feb2022.xlsx' contain an overview of all measurements recorded during the measurement campaigns (MC) with notes.
4. 'Helix_validation_figures.zip' contains the figures that have the overhead spectra for the validation of the Helix-tool. The data can be extracted from these figures.
