Elasto-plastic compression and flow through: visualisation for TUD CEG faculty

On one side, visualisation of a vertical compression of the 2m long block solved with linear elasticty and ideal plasticity. On the other, visualisation of streamlines generated from a 2D simulation of Stokes flow-through on the top and front face. The visualisation is made for a sticker glued to a glass case and is displayed in TU Delft on the 6th floor of the Civil Engineering and Geosciences faculty building.

FE Gmsh input file/geo ; FE Gmsh output file/msh ; MOOSE FE simulation input file/i ; FE simulation output files/exodus ; Paraview visualisation file/pvsm ; preview file/png

The simulation output files are obtained by running the MOOSE input files using the meshes from Gmsh.
(MOOSE needs to use the Navier-Stokes module for the flow simulation and the Tensor Mechanics module for the mechanics)
The visualisation can be reproduced with the pvsm file in Paraview, using the results from the simulations.
