The dataset is organized in the following manner

*Melamine biodegradation*

1) File Oxic anoxic conditions.xlsx: Melamine, ammeline, ammonium, nitrate and methanol concentrations from melamine biodegradation experiments in oxic and anoxic conditions. The spreadsheet is organized in the columns bellow:
sample: number of batch bottle
group: experimental condition (O2 MeOH = oxic with methanol; O2 = oxic without methanol; N2 MeOH = anoxic with methanol; N2 = anoxic without methanol; 
date: date when sample was taken
day: experimental day
compound: name of the compound measured
concentration (mg/L): concentration in mg/L
concentration (mg-N/L): concentration on a nitrogen basis (mg-N/L)

2) File Alternating redox conditions.xlsx: Melamine, ammeline and nitrate concentrations from melamine biodegradation experiments in alternating conditions. The spreadsheet is organized in the columns bellow:
sample: number of batch bottle
compound: name of the compound measured
day: experimental day
concentration (mg-N/L): concentration on a nitrogen basis (mg-N/L)
condition: experimental condition, as indicated in Table 1 of the respective article

3) File Bioregeneration.xlsx: Melamine concentrations from activated carbon bioregeneration experiments. The spreadsheet is organized in the columns bellow:

step: experimental step (virgin GAC, bioregenerated GAC or control)
time (h): experimental time when sample was taken, in hours
melamine concentration (mg/L): melamine concentration in the sample, in mg/L
GAC load (mg/g): calculated activated carbon load in mg/g, based on the melamine mass balance, GAC mass and liquid volume

4) File Adsorption desorption isotherm.xlsx: Data from melamine adsorption and desorption isotherm. The spreadsheet is organized in the columns bellow:

Initial concentration (mg/L): Initial melamine concentration in mg/L
Equilibrium concentration adsorption (mg/L): Melamine concentration after equilibrium in adsorption experiment, in mg/L
GAC mass (g): Mass of granular activated carbon in batch, in g
Total volume adsorption (L): Total liquid volume in adsorption experiment, in L
GAC load adsorption (mg/g): Calculated activated carbon load in adsorption experiment, in mg/g, based on the melamine mass balance, GAC mass and liquid volume
