This archive contains the empirical materials that underpin Chapters 2 through 4 of the dissertation. The research takes a mixed-methods, design-oriented approach to investigate where and why uncertainties, coordination gaps, and regulatory bottlenecks hinder the integration of hydrogen into the Dutch energy and electricity systems. It aims not only to diagnose these challenges but also to co-develop practical pathways that enable more adaptive, collaborative decision-making.

The study is structured in two phases. The first phase explores integration challenges through literature and policy analysis, stakeholder interviews, focus groups, Social Network Analysis, and Institutional Network Analysis. The second phase builds on these findings to design and test integration strategies through participatory workshops. Together, these methods generate insights that are both analytical and actionable.

Each chapter is based on a distinct study:

All data is organized by chapter, with each folder containing a README file detailing the contents and methodology.
