This dataset contains all the data used to develop the work described in the manuscript "Water Dissociation Efficiencies control the viability of reverse-bias bipolar membranes for CO2 Electrolysis". The experimental numerical data provided has been used to study the effects of current density, concentration and cation identity on the WDE. For this calculation, it is provided all the experimental raw data (RawData_Experiments_rBPME_WDE.zip) generated during the experiments (.xlsx, .docx, and .txt files) including the gas concentrations from the GC, chronopotentiometry voltage-current data, mass flow meter data for FE calculations and titration values used to derive WDEs. The processed data used to create the manuscript and SI figures is also provided in separate files (SourceData_Manuscript.zip, SourceData_SupplementaryData.xlsx). In addition it is also attached the model scripts in Python (.py) developed to simulate the pH drop of the anolyte (Model_rBPM_WDE_longterm.zip).
