abstract: "<p>This dataset is associated with the peer-reviewed publication "Suitability of river plastic monitoring methods for citizen science". The dataset includes the raw and anonymized results from a survey focusing on the suitability of river plastic monitoring methods for citizen science projects. It also includes river plastic observational data using four different methods, on both microplastic and macroplastic. The plastic observations and surveys used in the publication were undertaken at the Odaw River, in the city of Accra, Ghana. </p>"
