abstract: "<p>This data package provides datasets of laser-assisted automated fiber placement (LAFP) simulations, with temperature outputs for various sets of input process parameters.</p><p><br></p><p>This dataset contains:</p><ul><li>Documentation that summarizes the modelling approach as well as the (varied) input and output parameters.</li><li>Data files containing inputs and corresponding temperature outputs at several predefined locations in the LAFP process, for a grid based sampling, Latin Hypercube Sampling method, and uniform random sampling.</li><li>Matlab script file (in `/model`) for constructing the multi-physics model in COMSOL.</li></ul><p><br></p><p>The dataset may be used to train machine learning systems or benchmarking against other physics-based simulations.</p>"
