GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
This is data that was collected for study titled: Reliability and Accuracy of A-mode Ultrasound for Non-invasive Bone Surface Detection. As the title suggests, we were trying to validate the reliability and accuracy of A-mode Ultrasound measurement. We want to know if the operators who observing the A-mode signal to identify bone peak are actually selecting the correct bone peak. So we conducted an experiment where we measure A-mode ultrasound while simultaneously performing CT-scan on a cadaveric leg.
GENERAL DATA DESCRIPTION:
There are two main data, structured into two folders, CT (for data derived from CT-scan) and US (for data derived from A-mode Ultrasound data). Each folders has two groups of data, corresponding to the number of CT-scan we conducted (there were two scans). In every folder there is README.txt, explaining the brief description of each folders and files. To use and process the data, a custom software made from MATLAB was developed.
